Aquaculture Study Program Meeting Discusses Terms of Reference (TOR) for Thesis Student Research Plans for Even Semester 2023/2024

[Kupang/Universitas Nusa Cendana] – In order to improve the quality of student research, the Aquaculture Study Program held an important meeting on February 1 2024 to discuss the Terms of Reference (TOR) for research plans for thesis program students in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This meeting was held to ensure the uniformity and quality of research that will be carried out by students this semester.

Meeting Details:

  1. Discussion of Terms of Reference (TOR):
    The meeting began with a presentation regarding the Terms of Reference (TOR) that had been submitted by the students. This TOR is the main guide for students in preparing their thesis research plans. Each TOR point is discussed in depth to ensure completeness and consistency.
  2. Submission of Student Research Plan:
    All students' thesis research plans for the 2023/2024 even semester have been submitted to the Aquaculture Study Program. The research plan includes the title, research objectives, methods, and theoretical framework that students will follow during the research process.
  3. Determination of Supervisor:
    The meeting also discussed the appointment of supervisors based on their respective areas of expertise. This is done so that students receive guidance that suits their research focus. This process ensures there is synergy between students and supervisors to achieve optimal research results.

Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Yuliana Salosso said, "This meeting is the first step to ensure that every student gets the right guidance during the thesis process. "By discussing the TOR and determining supervisors, we hope to improve the quality of student research and make a positive contribution to the field of aquaculture."
